TRUNK OR TREAT: The Forrest City Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will host a Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 31, at 123 Trenton Cove in Forrest City. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Goodies will be distributed. Youth of all ages are invited. Drivethrough is preferred but walk-ins will be welcome. Masks and social distancing will be enforced.

EXERCISE CLASS: The Forrest City Medical Center Auxiliary holds PACE Exercise Classes at Café 1601 (the cafeteria) at Forrest City Medical Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9 to 10 a.m. The free classes include range of motion, gentle strengthening, balance, weight-bearing and breathing exercises, all performed in standing or seated positions to suit individual needs. Masks will be required for all participants.

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS: Narcotics Anonymous meetings are held each Wednesday, at 7 p.m., at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, located at 400 Hill Street in Forrest City.

RECOVERY SUPPORT: Celebrate Recovery meets at 7 p.m., each Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene at 132 McCutchen St., in Forrest City. Anyone having problems with addictions, habits or hangups is welcome to join. For more information, contact pastor Lynn Hickman at 501-831-6353.

LITERACY PROJECT: The Eastern Arkansas Literacy Project is offering basic instruction to adults 18 years and older for reading, writing, basic math, computers, financial literacy and English as a second language.
