Resident asks fellow citizens to look at the numbers and analyze them

Dear Editor, Everyone should have the right to decide for themselves what they want, but, to make that decision you need to look at the actual numbers that show the level of threat from this virus.

These numbers are in the paper every day.

First: total test run in Arkansas. 2,975,556

Total positive results. 378,023 This shows 87% of people tested did not have the virus 13% were positive

Total cases. 378,023

Total deaths. 6,087

Now one death is one to many but look further.

This says that survival rate is 99.98%, and this is without the vaccine, for those who were infected.

Now the CDC said that they estimated that the deaths resulting from the virus was only about 5% of the total deaths, in other word 95% died with the virus, only 5% died from the virus.

If this is all assumed to be correct and the numbers are as reported by the gov. The deaths in Arkansas that were caused just by the virus is 304 and the other deaths resulted from causes other than just the virus. That shows the virus alone is 99.999% survivable.

These percentage run right with the national figures percentage wise.

Why does Washington want little children to take a vaccine that is experimental and has unknown long term results. Why are they pushing for masking and forcing businesses to close again? This virus does not seem to be more deadly than the yearly flu that seems to have disappeared from almost all reports. Something doesn’t make good sense. The information coming out of Washington seems to change and reverse about as often as the wind changes direction.

Also there are meds that will defeat the virus if you get infected, or med you can take that will keep you from getting it. These meds have been in use many years are proven safe. But gov doesn’t want you to get these meds. Gov wants you to get vaccines but allows illegal aliens in by the thousands without as much as a test to see if they have the virus.

You should be free to decide for you and your family what you believe is best for you as we go thru another so called pandemic.
